Civicplan has partnered with CIMA+, on a number of Virtual Public Information Centres (vPICs) dealing with a variety of transportation projects across Ontario. A vPIC is an interactive online engagement process that allows participants to learn about a project, provide input on the key issues and concerns within the study area and share ideas with the project team. vPICs can also allow for the testing of design ideas in preliminary project stages as well as spatial engagement through crowd mapping that allow participants to “pin” comments to a map of the study area.
