Downtown Guelph Renewal

The City of Guelph has undertaken the Downtown Infrastructure Renewal Project (DTIRP) in order to update and upgrade dated infrastructure serving the Downtown core. The project is extensive and integral as Guelph’s Downtown is the centre of commerce and culture for the City. The vision for the Downtown is as a distinct urban centre: a showcase for sustainable high-density living within a lively business and entertainment district. The Phase 1 of the overall renewal project focuses on Wyndham Street North and St. George’s Square. Civicplan is working with GSP Group Inc. and MTE Consultants on the redesign of these iconic civic spaces in downtown Guelph.
