Play, Walk & Roll in Lisgar

The Play, Walk and Roll in Lisgar Neighbourhood project is about learning and mapping how children in the Lisgar neighbourhood of Hamilton mountain are active in the outdoors, whether it’s walking or cycle to school, or playing in and around their neighbourhoods outside of school hours. The results of the project will provide parents of school age children with outdoor play activity ideas and routes to school. The project is part of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge (HKCC) program funded by the Province of Ontario. The goal of the project is to encourage kids to be more active and to power off their electronic devices and get outside!
